Iván de la Fuente Merencio

Iván is an actuary, recipient of two extraordinary awards in Actuarial Science and Business Sciences during his undergraduate studies at the University of Alcalá. He has over 12 years of experience in social security, life insurance, and financial-actuarial solutions for senior citizens, particularly reverse mortgages, since joining Óptima Mayores, where he has built his professional career.

Since 2010, he has combined his main activity with teaching and research at the University of Alcalá, serving as an associate professor of Financial and Actuarial Economics.

Currently, he can be considered one of the leading technical experts in reverse mortgages, having analyzed the technical conditions of all entities that have offered the product in Spain.
